Does my overhead crane require a 10 year mechanical overhaul?

AS2550.1 determines the criteria for these overhauls based on duty of the hoist and a 10 year assessment. We use procedures and reports developed specifically in line with the standards to advise our customers of their obligations. Contact us to find out more.

Do you service any make of overhead crane or hoist?

Our technicians have training and experience in overhead crane service, repairs and maintenance of all major brands of lifting hoists. We have access to manuals and spare parts and are capable of determining the correct crane repairs and settings required in line with original manufacturer recommendations.

What do I need to consider when purchasing new cranes or hoists?

Standard items to consider when purchasing any lifting equipment such as overhead bridge and portal cranes, take-up winches or lifting hoists includes safe working load, span and lifting height, duty cycles and on-going cost of spare parts. We recommend customers do their homework before investing in a supplier. Contact us for more details on choosing the best supplier for you.

Aren’t all cranes the same?

No. Duty class plays a big role in the reliability and longevity of equipment such as overhead bridge and portal cranes. Some companies will offer a low duty class when quoting, to make their price look attractive. However, a $3000 saving on purchase could cost you up to 10 times more with problems during the life of the equipment, compared to buying the right product in the first place.

We consider customer requirements carefully and we only supply quality products with the aim to develop long term relationships, not make quick sales.
